Use Your Network & Save Money
Whenever you need a doctor, for whatever reason, you should have someone you know and trust to help keep your out-of-pocket costs down.
See doctors who truly care & stay covered. By receiving care from Bright Health’s coordinated provider network, your providers will be able to get to know you and your health history, so you get the personalized care that you deserve – and save money by cutting down on extra payments.
Going out-of-network for care is generally not covered by your plan except in cases of emergency or if we authorize you to receive care out-of-network. If you see a provider out of network, you will likely find that you have higher bills for your visit.
Make sure you see the right doctor & get the right level of care.
Here are some tips to help you get the right care & save money:
When to use Primary Care
Your PCP (Primary Care Provider– your family doctor) should be your first line of support, except when a true medical emergency exists. Think of them as your quarterback. Your PCP can care for most illnesses or injuries that a convenience or urgent care clinic would treat.
When to use Urgent Care
For care needs that require immediate attention, but aren’t emergencies, use the online Provider Finder tool to locate the urgent care nearest you.
When to use Emergency Care
For emergencies, you may need to visit the emergency room. To find the hospitals nearest you, contact Bright Health or use the Provider Finder tool. Remember, staying in-network is the most cost-effective way to get the care you need. And if you need emergency care immediately, call 911.
By entering my phone number and/or email address, I agree that Bright Health and/or a sales agent may call or email me, provide me with information about the plan, and answer any questions I may have.
